This year the award was for their beautiful work at the Vendome in Dallas. TEXO’s Distinguished Building Awards program identifies construction projects completed by TEXO members in North and East Texas. These awards are based on unusual construction techniques, special obstacles, personnel, quality control and safety. This was Southern Botanical’s third entry into the annual competition, and the third time the landscape company has been awarded for construction and their role as general contractor.This challenging project required complete cooperation, careful timing and a commitment to precision. Having to work around an existing underground parking garage, limited site access and the need to crane large trees in and out throughout the process certainly tested the Southern Botanical team’s attention to detail.
