Crew Members

Crew Members create and maintain beautiful commercial and residential properties throughout Dallas/Fort Worth! You will use mowers, blowers, trimmers, edgers, and other equipment to accomplish the job and will work under the direction of a Crew Leader to ensure that work is completed safely and to our quality standards.

Crew Leaders

Crew Leaders coach a team of Crew Members to ensure work is completed to our standards in a safe and timely manner. You will also be responsible for training and developing your team, as well as driving them to and from the job site in company vehicles. 

Irrigation Inspectors & Technicians

Irrigation Technicians are magicians with the systems that ensure Texas landscapes stay green and beautiful. You will be responsible for understanding irrigation maps, installing systems, detecting, and solving leaks, and programming and troubleshooting controllers. You will also partner with our Account Managers to answer client questions and train them on the system as needed.

Agronomy Technicians

Agronomy Technicians keep our commercial and residential properties healthy and looking beautiful by applying fertilizers and pesticides to the trees, shrubs, lawns, soil, and crops. You will be responsible for understanding the science behind these important treatments and how to apply them properly and safely. 

Tree Care Climber

Tree Care Climbers keep the towering trees on our commercial and residential properties healthy and beautiful with air and power tools, compressors, and chainsaws. Attention to detail, following safety protocols, and working together are cornerstones of this important position.

Ground Crew

Ground Crew members support Tree Climbers by handling preparations, tool exchanges, clean-up, and more. If you want to get into the tree care business, this is the place to start.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be a US Citizen?

No; however, in compliance with federal law, all new employees are required to verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Additionally, we have a strong H-2B program that you are welcome to apply for.

What would my schedule be?

We work Monday – Friday and typically avoid working on weekends. Our frontline teams typically leave for client sites at 6:30 a.m.  In the heat of the summer, we start earlier to take advantage of cooler weather in the mornings and allow teams to finish in the early afternoon.

Where would I work?

Most of our frontline teams leave from our Dallas headquarters or our branch in Carrollton, and we try to place people in an office that is as close to their homes as possible. We also have positions that report directly to large client sites throughout the city.

What would I wear?

Everyone who works on client sites is required to wear Southern Botanical shirts, long pants, work boots, and personal safety equipment. Uniforms are provided by the company. Additionally, tattoos must be covered.

What does the day-to-day look like?

Our frontline teams work outside, ensuring our client’s properties remain healthy and beautiful all year long! Depending on what crew you’re on, you may focus on lawn care, design and planting, landscape construction, and more.

Would I still have work in the winter?

Yes, our frontline teams are full-time employees and work throughout the winter months.

When and how would I get paid?

Our frontline team members are paid every Friday via direct deposit or pay cards. You do not need a bank account to get paid.

Do you offer health insurance?

Yes! We have three insurance plans, and our most affordable healthcare plan is an HMO that covers the employee for only $25 per paycheck.

Would I get paid time off (PTO)?

Yes! You will receive 40 hours of PTO after 2 months of service. Additionally, all employees enjoy 6 paid holidays including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Are there opportunities for promotions and advancement?

Yes! Our company is full of team members, including our CEO, who started on our frontlines, worked hard, and were rewarded with new opportunities.
