Dallas, TexasGeorge W. Bush Presidential CenterThis expansive project involved reversing decades of urban development and recreating a beautiful, balanced 15-acre landscape that’s flourishing with plant life native to the area. In an effort to reduce the long-term need for irrigation, we installed the drought-tolerant plants and trees selected by the design team. We also graded the park so the land would drain to the south as rainwater is filtered and purified through the soil. Our team proudly maintained this property for over 10 years post-installation. This thoughtful landscape design has created a self-sustaining system over time, and the lasting results reflect George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush’s love of the Texas landscape and their ongoing commitment to sustainability.CategoryCommercialServicesInstallation, Landscaping, Maintenance, Tree CareLandscape ArchitectMichael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc.
