The Arborist/Tree Care Business Developer sells Arboricultural Services to residential and or commercial customers. This position involves creating and building relationships with existing and new clients. Must be knowledgeable and experienced with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management and approved industrial tree care practices. Position involves estimating cost for crews to perform tree removal, pruning, cabling, and other tree care services.

The Arborist/Tree Care Business Developer must possess the following skill set and educational background:
A. Preferably 13 years of sales experience in arboricultural services
B. 2 or 4 year degree (preferably in the Green Industry).
C. Regional plant and horticulture knowledge.
D. Possess excellent sales and communication skills.
E. Prefer ISA Certification
F. Computer proficient.
G. Organized in a fast paced environment.
H. Able to make effective presentations to potential clients.
I. Self Motivated
K. Able to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.
A. Sells $500,000 to $1,000,000 of commercial projects annually.
B. Attends client and professional association meetings.
C. Makes the initial contact with client and takes all required measurements.
D. Ensures that vendor pricing is competitive and accurate.
E. Prepares all proposals/bids.
F. Makes effective presentations and presents all proposals/documents to client.
G. Closes sale and coordinates job specifics with accounting personnel.
H. Coordinates job specifics with production personnel.
I. Interfaces with client and ensures that all of client’s concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
