Job Information

1. Position description:
The primary objective of the Landscape Construction Business Development Coordinator is to assist in the develop of new business for the company. Researches new business opportunities and projects and gathers information for team. Help keep sales team organized, calendared and aware of deadlines and meetings. Assist in keeping sales pipeline full and moving forward.

2. Reports to:
Dallas Landscape Construction Branch Manager

3. Skill set and educational requirements:
Must possess the following skill set and educational background:
A. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
B. Out-going personality
C. Easy to work with in a team environment but not afraid to be on their own
D. Organized, with a focus on details
E. Minimum of three years of client relationships and or sales experience.
F. Associate’s degree.
G. Possess excellent computer skills.

4. Responsibilities:
A. Research defined market segments to target specific potential clients. Provide written reports on findings to the salesmen
B. Cold calling on the phone and in person potential clients to introduce our company and arrange sales meeting for the salesmen
C. Keep accurate records on status of contacts with our existing and prospective customers
D. Monitor and advise the salesman as to deadlines, meetings, and necessary calls for their schedules
E. Organize company information for marketing purposes
F. Respond to RFP’s and pre-qualification packages
H. Write articles for business papers and magazine regarding our work
I. Attend and participate in all internals sales efforts
J. Attend functions during and after hours to promote and represent the company
K. Keep sales packets and reference list up to date
L. Make sure financials and bond ratings are up to date with our target GC list.
M. Get feedback on every bid turned in and why we won or lost it, low price, middle, high, bond rating, best qualified, least qualified, etc.
N. Make sure all client info is captured and input into our CRM or Outlook
O. Know who all the General Contractor’s point of contact are
P. When a project begins, know the Project Management team and make regular contact with client to inquire status or our bid, get feedback on where we stand regarding pricing

5. Salary, bonus, and/or commissions:
Commensurate with experience.
