This year the award was for their beautiful work at an incredible residential property in Dallas. TEXO’s Distinguished Building Awards program identifies construction projects completed by TEXO members in North and East Texas. These awards are based on unusual construction techniques, special obstacles, personnel, quality control and safety. This was Southern Botanical’s fourth entry into the annual competition, and the fourth time the landscape company has been awarded.This challenging project included extensive hardscape and landscape renovations across the expansive estate grounds. The entire project revolved around an effort to make it self-sustaining in its water use and involved installing a huge underground water collecting cistern. The cistern captures rainwater which is then repurposed for irrigation use across the property.TEXO is the construction association representing commercial contractors in North and East Texas.
