NALP Awards Southern Botanical Prestigious Judges’ Award, Tw0Grands at Landscapes 2017

The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) announced that Dallas landscaper, Southern Botanical, Inc. has been awarded the prestigious Judges award as well as two Grand Awards for their exemplary work on two spectacular properties. The awards were presented at the 48th annual National Landscape Awards of Excellence Program Oct 19th in Louisville, Kentucky as part of the Landscapes 2017 conference. This is the premier national awards program in the landscape industry and the awards ceremony is part of NALP’s Green Industry Conference. The Grand Award is the program’s top category and a Judges Award is presented to a Grand Award-winning project that goes above and beyond the standard and is deserving of additional recognition. NALP’s awards program recognizes interiorscape, landscape, and lawn care professionals who design and create superior projects, and reflects the association’s commitment to supporting members in the creation and preservation of great landscapes.

4510/Tasset Eye Park | Southern Botanical | Commercial Landscaper DallasThe 2 Grand Awards were awarded for commercial work at 4510/Tasset Eye Park and residential work at a spectacular Highland Park residence. The Judges Award was presented for the residential project in the Residential Design Build category. 4510 is a high profile property that includes the unique Tasset Eye Park, a retail hi-rise and a luxury hotel. On the residential side, the Dallas Landscaping Services, Southern Botanical team won for a remarkable and beautiful residence that they have maintained and updated for years and through multiple owners. This year, they were awarded a Judges and Grand Award for their beautiful work in a recent landscape makeover.

Sponsored by the NALP, this awards program is the nation’s premier industry event and recognizes excellence in installation, design, design/build, maintenance and special projects. Entries were judged on the basis of difficulty, craftsmanship and attention to detail, in addition to specific criteria listed in each category. Each of the entry categories was evaluated independently.
